got all of the layouts up to date with the new Mibba coding. So now the previews will look like how they layouts will look in the new layouts, the codes are now in one textbox, and all the layouts work with the exception of four of them. Those are photography
because I used a certain code for the tables that the new Mibba doesn't like. So as soon as I can I'll try and get those four up and running, but I've been working for hours already and I really need a break away from it. :P
, which isn't all that surprising since most of the coding changed with the layout. I'll try and fix those, and maybe add a 'send a message' button as well, but if I can't get them working then they may have to be taken down. Other than that, everything else seems to be working properly with the new Mibba. I plan on making new tutorials for how to install a layout as soon as I can, but like I said I've been working all yesterday evening and all of today, so I need a break before I work on that.
Honestly, I do love the new Mibba, but it sort of came at a bad time for me. A friend of mine from high school was killed in a car accident earlier this week, so I've been really down about that. All this has taken my mind off of it though, so maybe it's actually helping :) Today's actually my 4 year anniversary of joining Mibba, so it's kind of funny that I've been spending so much time the site.

Ahem. As you can see, if you've logged into Mibba already, the two weeks are finally over and the new layout it here. I was actually reading a story, and when I went to the next chapter I noticed the top bar was different and thought the page didn't load correctly before I realized that it was the new layout finally here. Of course it's really different and it'll take some getting used to, but overall I really do like it. The Stories section looks incredible, and it's pretty cool how they have updates from people you're friends with on the My Mibba page.
I'll admit, when I clicked on the Profile button at the top and saw the info page I felt my heart sink and I thought, because I didn't see my layout, '
' But, there's a button to the right of the info page that says 'Profile' and that take me to my ordinary profile with my LF layout and everything. I have an even bigger panic when I couldn't find the CSS and the HTML/Layout pages, but it turns out, the now have one page under 'profile' called 'Custom profile'.
Hopefully I can get all of the layouts working properly with the new Mibba as soon as I can, but as of now all of the layouts might look a bit off.
Okay, the main thing that's causing the layouts to mess up is that, with the old Mibba, there wasn't this (minus the dashes): <-s-t-y-l-e- t-y-p-e="text/css"> before the CSS and this (minus the dashes): <-/s-t-y-l-e> after the CSS. Now it's needed, so I'm working on adding that to every layout code, as well as updating previews, but it'll be a while before it's all done.

I've been working all day on different parts of LF, mainly changing photography credit urls on layouts to a new blog I made, specifically for all the different photographs I used. I came up with the idea while in the shower this morning - where all good ideas form of course - and have been working since on this blog:
. No need to follow it or anything, I just made it so that I could reblog all of the photos used in layouts and have them in one place. Before, I was just linking to where I'd reblogged them onto my personal blog,
, but it was difficult going through my 7000 posts looking for a photo I'd used. Also, if I ever wanted to changed my username, all the links to photographs on the layouts would break, and I'd have to go through every single layout and change it to a working url. So now, all the photos I've used are on this blog, and I know that I'm not planning on changing my username or anything, so I don't have to worry about that.
And in other news, my finals ended last Wednesday and the semester is done, so I've been enjoying the time off. My final grades have been posted already, and I got all A's in four classes, and a C in one, though I'm not too bothered by it because that class was brutal and I'm just happy I passed. My mother's wedding that I mentioned before went well too, and I'm happy that it's over now because I can just relax and in enjoy the summer break. c:
